Abdulkarim Sharba, M.D.

Dr. Sharba received his medical degree from Damascus University. He completed his medical training in Neurology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

During his residency, he received the “Resident of the Year Award”, and was nominated by the medical students to receive “Lori Schneider Outstanding Teaching Award”.

Dr. Sharba is board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

He joined Indiana Neuroscience Associates in 2001. He sees patients in South Indianapolis, Northeast Indianapolis (Community North), Noblesville, and Martinsville.

In addition to general Neurology, his special interest includes EMG/NCS, Epilepsy, Headache, Stroke, and Sleep.

Dr. Sharba has been the Medical Director of Stroke and Neurology Testing at Community Hospital South since 2009.

He lives with his wife and two daughters in Indianapolis.
